The Mackenzie Valley Environmental Impact Review Board is an independent, public board funded by the federal government. Its governing legislation is the Mackenzie Valley Resource Management Act and the Review Board is also subject to the federal Access to Information and Privacy Acts.

- The Review Board's web site does not automatically gather
any specific personal information from you, such as your name,
telephone number or e-mail address. We would only obtain this
information if you voluntarily supply it to us when requesting
information or in corresponding with us.
- The Review Board does not use this information to create
individual profiles, nor does the Review Board forward this
information on to other government departments. Any personal
information held or collected by the Review Board is protected
under the federal Privacy Act.
- The Review Board's web site does not use "cookies" or any other software or hardware technology to track visitors to its site or to determine sites previously visited.
